About Machiko Ono
Machiko Ono (尾野真千子), born November 14, 1981, in Nishiyoshino, Nara Prefecture, Japan, is a well-known Japanese actress. She was discovered by director Naomi Kawase in middle school and starred in the award-winning film "Suzaku" which won the Caméra d'Or at Cannes. She gained widespread recognition and awards early in her career and starred in the 2011 NHK drama "Carnation," which achieved high ratings. Other aliases include 로오 마치코 (Korean) and おの まちこ (Japanese reading).
