Erica Boyer (born Amanda Margaret Gantt; December 22, 1956 – December 31, 2009), also known by professional aliases including Erica Bee and Carol Christy, was a prominent American adult entertainment performer active during the industry's Golden Age. Born in Andalusia, Alabama, she moved to San Francisco in the late 1970s and began dancing at the legendary O'Farrell Theater. Encouraged by Marilyn Chambers, she made her hardcore film debut in Beyond De Sade (1979), launching a prolific career that spanned over 150 feature films across two decades.
Recognized for her significant contributions to the industry, she was inducted into both the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame. Following her retirement in the late 1990s, Boyer settled in Panama City Beach, Florida, where she operated a massage therapy business and did local volunteer work. She tragically passed away at the age of 53 after being struck by a vehicle on December 31, 2009.
