Ai Iijima

Ai Iijima (飯島愛), born October 31, 1972, was a Japanese entertainer and author from Tokyo. She debuted in 1992 as an AV actress and later transitioned to mainstream media, gaining popularity for her candid personality and appearances on various TV shows. Known for her bestselling semi-autobiographical book "Platonic Sex," Ai openly shared her life experiences and challenges. She retired from the entertainment industry in 2007 and continued writing until her untimely death in 2008 at age 36. Ai remains a well-remembered figure for her contributions to entertainment and literature in Japan.
